What inspires you to create jewellery?

Matching flower girl tiaras - so cute! - Made for a wedding for two lovely little flower girls to wear - the idea was delicate, feminine and girly - think it was captured, the bride was in love with them and her girls are still wearing them about once a week and it has been two years since the wedding!

I am inspired simply by life in general - my life to be exact. I often see things in nature - say colour mixes or textures that I must replicate in my jewellery creations. I find that inspiration comes at any time and I must listen to it always. I have been known to stop what I am doing at any time of the night and the day that the muse strikes me. I have found that inspiration comes in ebb and flows and I can go for many a week without anything concrete so to speak and then the ideas come flooding in and I can't stop them! So tell me what gets you into a creation/inspiration frenzy? Are you suprised at the beauty that you can create?
