The girls are just fulfilling their dream to be the trendsetter in fashion (although I don't think their specially design clothes are that beautiful - sometimes it's just horrible!).Even if they want to stay away from the cameras, their sponsors will make them wear their designs and show it to the crowds. In the end, they wouldn't be popular if they're not good in court. Sharapova only became popular after winning Wimbledon , Ivanovic and Jankovic are noticed because they played consistently. At least there are more interest in women tennis right now compared to the old days.

Hi there, Well u r right to some extent. Actually its two faced. People are interested to know what she is doing off the ground and on the other side when its blown out of proportion we fell like its too much. Actually sports perosnlities are always like that. I remember Beckham getting all attention wherever England use to play. U compare him with the other football greats and u will find him below par. Some people have that aura which makes people follow them whatever they do. In india we use to look at sachin in that fashion ( incidentally its MSD now ) so its like a cycle. Well if u ask me.. I would say Sharapova is an excellent tennis player. And she had a great modelling career as well . Atleast she is far beeter than that Anna Girl, lol. Cheers, Tutul
