for the third time since 2004 the supreme court sentenced the fact that detention without a trial, and deprivation of basic rights like the one to an attorney etc., isn't constitutional. the american administration declared that they don't approve of the decision, and senator mccain also declared this was the worst decision ever made. i think that in a democracy, basic rights have to be granted to everyone, even the worst criminal, as a guarantee of democracy and freedom. furthermore, why deny a trial to people who we are convinced are guilty??? if we're sure they are, we should desire a trial to condemn them officially, and should not accept an illegal detention that violates every right there is. what do you think?
