would you pay $3639.55 for a USED bedroom set?

My fiance went to buddys home furnishings and is renting this bedroom set. he was under the impression he had the 6 months same as cash deal to where he would have this bed paid off in july. well i was wondering about it so i looked at the paper work. it says you have an OPTION to OWN this property for a cash price of 2519.69. you also have an option to own this property by paying one of the following. weekly rental of 39.99 for 91 weeks for a total price of 3639.55 or rental 79.99 for 45.50 for a total of 3639.55. Im sorry but after having it since february i love the set BUT Im not paying that much for a used bedroom set. I have other things i can use that money on. I can get a brand new one for cheaper then that. If you want to see what im talking about go to buddyrents.com then look under rental purchase then furniature... then scroll down to the bedroom section.. not the bottom row of bedroom sets but the one right above it.. the white set called ideal italia for 35.99 a week. thats the bedroom set i have. im sorry its used and its not worth that much money. i can see paying that much for a "new" one. but those are used. Is this a good decision or you think i should continue paying on it till 2010?
