Though I am a male and never had the problem of weight gain due to pregnancy, I found myself one day climbing the weight ladder. Now when I was young I could eat enough food for two at every meal and stayed slim. People used to watch me eat and shake their heads in wonder. But I had always told myself that once I started gaining weight, I would change my eating habits. When I went from 165 to 193 (peak weight) I did just that. I still eat the same breakfast I always did but changed my lunches from yesterday's leftovers to raw vegetables (carrot sticks, turnip, celery, etc.). Then when supper came, I would eat what I always ate which is a balanced meal most of the time but do enjoy fries and pizza and hamburgers and the like. Sure enough my weight dropped back to the low 180s. Since then I have taken up hobby farming and therefore get out working more so I am now back to the low 170s. Seeing 165 again may happen for me yet. In short, unless you are genetically a big person, eating sensibly and staying active should allow you to resume your normal physique.

A easy way to a better shape instantly is to have some good body shaping underwear, not the most flattering things, but they give you support and hold you in. Other than that just have a healthy diet and do some exercising regularly.

I can feel your pressure,i was like that before and a little now.To all with the other responses you already have....as they say drink 1 or 2 glasses of water 30 minutes before meal. That will make your tummy full and tend to eat less.Try to gradually reduce your rice intake-it's good to do that now since the country is experiencing rice shortage, lol.Replace it with veggies sort of salad-mine is cucumber, red and yellow bell pepper, parsley, salt and lemon/kalamnsi juice.Instead of having banana cue for snack go for carrots.Do the exercises Carter gave you in no time you'll get to wear your jeans back, maybe sexier,do it now while your metabolism is high.

Five step plan I put my wife on because SHE wanted to lose weight after her fourth pregnancy. She has lost over 40 lbs in the last year and slimmed down considerably. 1. Drink lots of water. This will flush your system and keep operating at peek performance. Body is 70% water. 2. Arm circles. To the front, to the sides, and straight up in the air. Remember to go in both directions, forward and reverse, because that will work the different muscle groups. 3. When you feel healthy enough to lay on the floor, do some leg lifts. Lay on left side of your body straight and stiff as if you are going to sleep and lift your right leg straight up and hold for a two count and report and until it burns pretty good. Then repeat on the right side and left leg. 4. Crunches. Be careful not to start crunches too soon after child birth. 5. Walking. Walk for at least 3 miles total every week. Take the kids for walk to the park or something. No Tae-bo, no LA Fitness, just doing this she lost 40lbs last year. Oh yeah and she started eating a lot of celery too with the dip. I hope this helps you.
