friend in trouble... gonna help him/her if your family involves?

What are you going to do if your friend is in trouble? And it involves your family? You discovered that your friend have an affair with your brother/sister........ and after wards learned that your friend have an affair with your dad/mom just for money.
He/She is not just a friend but your bestfriend... your closest and only friend who knew all about you.

Is he a friend? Does he consider you a friend? Did he friend you to get close to your family? These are the questions that you need to ask yourself. After analyzing all this then you will know if he is really a friend. Sometimes we makes the mistakes of accepting a person and immediately give them this title but deep down that person only accept it because they know what is on their agenda. I am sorry for the hurt you are going through if indeed this happen to you but next time you should assess a person before bringing them close to your family. You said he knows all about you but does you know anything about him.
Or he only give you a glimpse of what he truly is. Situations like these has alot of unanswered questions. What I would encourage you to do is to forget about him and move on. Why should you help him when he abuse your friendship. Do you consider him to be loyal after all this events.
