Is anyone missing?

I have been thinking about all the floods that took place in the US these past few months. There have been floods in China as well and other places. People lost their homes. I am wondering were any of them your friends here on mylot? Have you noticed them missing? If so lets pray for them that all is working out for them as this must be such a hard trying time for them.

fortunately, i ahve heard none of my friends have been victims of these vicious floods. hopefully it will not have any of my friends as victims. i appreciate your discussion because it shows concern for others who may be victims and probably still languishing from the trauma of the disaster.

I haven't seen much on the news lately about all the people who have lost their homes in the floods but I think about them. I wonder what are they doing right now? How are they coping? Do they have family or friends that have taken them in or even are they still in their town that barely exists or doesn't exist; trying to make things better there? It happened to such a huge number of people and it is hard not to think about all of them.

There was one mylotter here that none of us had heard from since the earthquake in China happened. It took a while but he came back. In the meatime everyone was posting asking about him. Thank goodness he is OK. I have another mylot friend who hasn't been on in a while, but I can't recall if it was as far back as the earthquakes.

I am glad your friend was okay. I was thinking about all the people who lost their homes in all the floods and earthquakes that have happened in the different countries when it dawned on me that wow with that many people I am sure a few if not many were members here at mylot. The talk about these desasters have not been on the news lately but I can't help but think of these people as I am sure you don't just move on and get over this in a day or two. Some towns in the US were completely wiped out by these floods. I sure would like to hear some updates on how people are doing now.
