You know I was just thinking, what have I done for myself lately? I'm so busy doing things for the family that I forget about me. These days, I'm always doing for others. It's about time that I do something for me.I'm thinking ok at the moment I can't remember the last thing that I bought for myself except for buy gas and food. That's all I buy Gas and Food.

I noticed that my skin has become dull and I thought of having a facial and diamond peel so that my skin would have back its glow. I thought of having it the following payday. Then payday came and I got short of budget so I thought of putting it off the next payday.I thought, surely I would have enough money by then. Then another payday came and then another and then another until 3 months lapsed before I finally had my facial. So I guess that is the most that i have done for myself lately. All I do nowadays is think of making ends meet and paying all the bills and buy food. So its definitely such a novelty to do something just for myself. Its part of 'keeping myself sane and putting myself first'.

I had a facial last month. I am able to get facials for just a copayment because my health insurance pays for it. When I become a billionaire I will pay for your facial because everyone deserves one.

Because of the price of food and gas, that is all I can do for myself. It has become difficult to do for others as well. I do not remember the last thing I bought for myself. I forgot about myself a long time ago, but I'm okay with it. I like seeing others happy.

I think because it's becoming more difficult because of the rising costs of everything, that I have cut myself out of the budget. I am going to give myself at least 5% for now on because I deserve it.

Well, lately I have been working and working and working and life is at a point which is not fun anyway. So, I start my yoga class again on the weekends and decide to think about work less, so I could concentrate my energy on other things. Well, we all need a little pampering once in awhile.

That is right, we are too busy to work for somebody else and sometimes we just forget that we are humans and our family are also humans and need our care, communication and understanding. We are never satisfied with what we have and try to do more and earn more and be stronger and richer but we end up being exactly the opposite. That's sad

Some people are not satisfied with what they have. I am satisfied with what I have and I consider myself blessed. I just think it's important to take time out for myself and love myself more every now and then. No one can love me like me.

I am like that too. I have been helping take care of my parents for awhile now and for the last 7 years trying to dig myself out of debt from college...so I gave up a lot of extras like shopping for clothes, music and concerts, etc. well, I am forcing myself to do things just for me now becuase i have realized I have let myself go in many ways and I have no one to blame but myself. Recently I had to buy a new bathing suit to go to a water park and instead of going for the cheapy one I went straight to the rack of ones I liked. ANd I bought it based on how I felt not the price. I still had to convince myself that it was okay on the ride home. LOL

Good for you!It feels good to get what you like without looking at the price tag sometimes. My taste is so expensive, if I went based on looks without looking at the price tag it's usually the most expensive item in the store. I plan to call my friends, leave the children at home with my husband and go on a shopping spree by the end of this month.

I could relate and understand what you are saying.I believe that you are in need of a time out! You need to plan a day off for your self. Maybe have a sitter come and take care of the children ,if they are small enough to need one. I am in need of a hair cut myself, and I usually get a pedicure when I go by the hair dresser. Usually if i get pains in my feet I know I am heavily stressed. Maybe you should get some feet pampering. After that maybe a date with your hubby maybe another way to end your day off with yourself.

I took some time out for me and went to see an audiologist FINALLY! lol I've been so darned busy with taking care of my elderly mother, she had a really bad stroke, which I've started discussions about, and my husband's mother passed away, my cat getting hit by a car, my dad having cancer surgery, my car problems, collecting donations for my mom's medical bills all within the past 2 1/2 months! I've started discussions on all of this so no need to go into details here. Anyway, I'm on my way to getting hearing aids... finally!!
