hybrid what are your opinions on these type cars?

I thought hybrids were the answer until I heard that the electric car has made it's debut! The only problem I have seen with the electric car so far is that the only ones I have seen seat 2 people. This would be a no go for us as we are a family of 4. The hybrids on the other hand have a much wider selection of vehicles and the amount of people you can sit in them.
