I searched for this thread since I am interested on the topic of vitamins. Relating to vitamin C, my pediatrician actually recommended me to stop giving vitamin C to my daughters because it maybe the cause of their skin allergies. She instead gave a vitamin containing zinc for their appetite and growth booster. Can you give me some other reasons why your dealer told you to take Fern C? Thanks!

I consider Fern C a wonder vitamin and a great healer. My sister’s experience with Fern C encouraged me to take also Fern C for myself but I haven't used it. My sister has a lingering cough for weeks. She tried several medicines prescribed by doctors but they did not make her any better, her cough remain. Until one day, she tried taking Fern C, two tablets in the morning and two tablets in the afternoon for one week. After one week, her cough is gone. Fern C is proven effective for her cough. So I was encouraged to take fern C also. Fern C is the most recommended Vitamin C so far. By just taking one tablet a day will be sufficient for your health maintenance. Vitamin C is a proven antioxidant which has anti-aging effects. It neutralizes free radicals that destroy cells in the body. Fern C is not expensive just 0.125 dollar per tablet. So far it is the most effective Vitamin C supplement. Vitamin C is also proven to reduce high blood pressure. Vitamin C is also an anti-cancer agent. Vitamin C is also recommended for cancer patients. High dosage of Fern C is also believed to heal cancer patients.

I think I'm not the appropriate authority to say that vitamin C definitely shortens the duration of a cold because for one, I'm not a physician. Also, I'm not the type of person who likes citrus fruits so much; though I do eat them occasionally when there are ripe ones. But personally, based on my own experience, I don't catch a cold often but when I eat citrus fruits, my system tends to interpret it in such a way that I do develop colds afterwards. I know this is quite peculiar and I guess I have a condition which is strange but I just brush this off from my thoughts until I could possibly consult a local doctor about this. At present, I do take vitamin C in capsule form to strengthen my immune system because as they say or claim, this is a great way to protect oneself from common colds. In particular, I take the Fern-C capsule although it's not my personal choice. Admittedly, my mother gave us a box of these capsules recently and told us to take them regularly for protection.

Fern-C is four times more effective than ascorbic acid since it does not contain any binders. One FERN-C 500 mg capsule is equivalent to four 500 mg ascorbic acid tablets.
