Will there be Pirates of Carribean IV?

the few days i watched again all 3 Pirates from part 1 to 3... it was fun watching it again i didn't get bored. However it brought me to reality which i almost forgot about it since most sequeled movies are just until 3 installment. But in the Pirates it remineded me that there will still be Part IV (hopefully). Remember the Map which has the writing Well of AGUA VIDA...hmmm i am so excited already. Hoping also that Will Turner(Orlando Bloom) will be brought back to life with that mysteriouse well. Thus i hope that walt disney can bring back all the original cast.. sequeled movies are always better if the original cast are retained. =)

Here's what I've read about a possible Pirates IV. They are talking about a start date a loooooong time away - like 2011. Will and Elizabeth will not be part of it - it will be all Jack. Of course, this is all rumor, but it's what's floating around out there.

I would love to see a number 4, but I think that they pretty well tied off the Will and Elizabeth end of the Pirates story...

They got married, they had a kid, and can only see each other once every ten years, what else is there to say?
Jack, on the other hand, sailing off on his little dinghy with a map to the water of life or the fountain of youth at the end of PC III... that at least left an opening for another one.
I'm curious about your source for Pirates IV in 2011...

Yeah, I read somewhere that the idea is to keep jack sparrow, but that's about it. I was dissappointed thinking that Will and Elizabeth's story shouldn't be over, with only getting to see each other one day every 10 years. I hope what I read is wrong, and they bring back most of the favorite characters. I also thought the story of Tia Dalma ended strange. I had hoped for something more from that.

i think there will be another sequel for this. the last installment was kinda left us hanging ("bitin") right? and fans are still waiting for new adventures of Captain Jack Sparrow! and the last movie did good in the theaters. for sure they will indulge the fans with another movie. i hope so because i want to see Johnny Depp again as the cunning and funny Captain Jack Sparrow!

Nope I seriously doubt so. What you said is possible but I think the ending is considered good as it is. Even though it's not the typical 'Happily Ever After' kind of ending, but at least Will Turner didn't die and he get to see his beau once every 10 years. It's the bitter sweet ending that makes this movie memorable.

I think they are planning to make POC IV. I'm not sure where I read it but then maybe it's just a rumour. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

there could be a fourth part...there shoul be one.as far as i remember turner got married to kiera knighley{don't remember her name}.but she also became a pirate.so how are they going to live as couples??
it is a suspense.

I think the franchised lived to the fullest. Shouldn't be brought back but should make a better one. (With new ideas and actors)
