The music during this time are really one of the kind... The Beatles, Elvis Presley, Neil Sedaka, The Rolling Stones, Queen, The Platters and a whole lot more, they are just so this one great voices and talent. I find their songs really impressing... How about you? Do you like this kind of songs? Why?

Hi jeiyah! I like old songs than the music today. I love John Denver songs, the Beatles and Bread. There are some music of them are now sung by new artist, but I don't like the rendition. I still prefer to listen to those old songs.

very much so. I'm a huge fan of 70's and 80's r&b as well as westcoast aor. Now what's that you say? It's a smooth and mellow type of music that was popular in the late 70 and early 80s. Acts like Chicago, Toto, Airplay, Christopher Cross, Doobie Brothers, Rickie Lee Jones, Al Jarreau, Dionne Warwick, Earth Wind and Fire, Lee Ritenour, Jeff Lober, Eddie Rabbit, Crystal Gayle, Ambrosia, Player and many more. Here are some sites to check out http://www.bluedesert.dk http://www.swedish-westcoast.com http://noted.blogs.com/westcoastmusic/ In fact I started a discussion board on this music as well.

The 70s and 80s had some of the best rock n roll to date.

I was born in 1973 and I'm very partial to music from the 70's and esp., the 80s. That music just makes a lot more sense to me than most of the music that is coming out today but it is starting to get a little bit better, at least some of it has meaning and not just questionable words that don't go with the music at all. There are some artist that I do like from the 90's and newer, but most of it is out of my range of understanding, although my kids love it, they like my old music too :).

I grew up in the 50's=60's. I love the music up to the 80's with a little of the 90's. I do like Rob Thomas, I think his voice is great. Most of the music of today just doesn't cut it. I don't understand alot of it. I really think we're losing the good feelings that come from Good Music that gives us a mental lift.

Ya old songs means to be near to history and knowing the old melody but some time we have to know the situation. So be careful when you are listening the music.
