I was just reading online that having own website is good to make money online. He says blog do not offer security as the blogger can anytime tell you go out. I own some free blogs. After reading I am now suspicious about my blogs. What my friend over here have to advise me. Please advise.

Hello Friend! If you have business online or offline than you should think of having own website. You can enhance your business. Or if you have something to sell on line than also it is better to have a website. Otherwise with blogs you have nothing to loose. If you are interested to more money on internet you can check my blog http://desirachh.ws/blog which will show you to have 22 streams of income that also for free.

And if you'd like a free personalized domain, you man wan to access this site: http://freedns.afraid.org/It's not top-level domain like yourname.com or yourname.net but at least you have a certain degree of control on how your URL would look like. Cheers!

A website is much more professional. Blogs tend to be personal and no one will be interested to read about your life unless the readers are your friends and family. (And even them sometimes would not want to read about your intimate thoughts.) However, there are bloggers who are very successful but then again, most of them have their own domain names for their blogs and they occupy niches that are very popular - for example, tech, political and commentary blogs. If you are comfortable with the blog format, invest at least in a domain name that can be easily remembered. What sounds better: myhobby.com or myhobby.blogger.com? But ... it still boils down to content. Without original content, whether a blog or a website, no one will become interested if information in the site/blog is stale. For whatever reason, the best blogs/sites rise to the top, all the time.
