Hi siZidni, I am from Malaysia, your neighbor country. I am just curious and keen to know that whether the language of your country, Bahasa Indonesia is similar to that of my national language, Bahasa Malyasia (BM) For example: I live near the seaside. In BM we say: Saya tinggal di tepi pantai. I would like to know how it says in Bahasa Indonesia. Thanks in advance. posting and have a nice day.

Wow thx IKbooi i almost give up with this topic. thx for your response. well. there's nothing different about that. "Saya tinggal di tepi pantai" juga. or you can say Saya tinggal di pantai bla bla.. you still need add some word to explain more which seaside? we also use "pinggir" instead of "tepi" hope it helps

Hi siZidni, as long as mylot still exist every discussion with zero response would have a chance to be responded. I like to pick interesting discussions from users who have responded my posts. Luckily to have your avatar appeared in one of my discussion recently, so this offered me a chance to notice this interesting topic. Thanks for your guidance siZidni. How about this sentence below Would it be better? Saya tinggal di pandai dekat sebuah kampong nelayan.( I live at the seaside close to a fishing village.) posting and cheers.

gr is derived from gede rumongo, javanese term, not indonesian. literally it means big sense. it means you always think people around you think about you and you are the center and attention. but you are not actually even you feel so. welcome to bahasa indonesia
