If we could not had any storms, we couldn't appreciate the sunshine?

I don't know if you mean that in the literal sense or metaphorically but here is my take...if you are feeling down all the time, there is no sunshine to appreciate because you have never experienced the good days.

hi grecy! it seems that you really undergone darkness in your life. you have already snapped out of it right? when some people told you "what will i do without you ate?". if we didn't experience any storm, we wouldn't appreciate sunshine. i believe in this. its the same us, you wouldn't know what happiness really is unless you had experienced sadness and grief. you wouldn't appreciate light if all your life you are just exposed to darkness. you wouldn't appreciate something if you didn't work hard for it. you'll take advantage of these great things and you wouldn't know their importance, you wouldn't appreciate them unless they are taken away from you. we only realize the value of something if it is taken away from us.

You are right. It is similar to saying that only when we experience the company of bad people, we realise the importance of good people. Probably it is the nature's rule to have storm, sunshine, floods, earthquakes. These upheavels have far reaching effect on living of a person, some are lucky not having too much variations in their day to day life and some have only variations happening in their life which churn them in and out.

In this world where we live, our life is always beset by unpleasant things alongside the pleasant ones. But like you said, we can never appreciate the sunshine if there were no storms. I too have asked that question many times. But the Bible says that "Whom God loves, he chastises." Like a piece of rock, he purges us so we can come out shining like gold. Life is not always down there. When we are up in the wheel let us remember how God led us through. Remember the time when you were down there and then you will get to see things in a better dimension.

i think you are completely right. because when got bad situation during bad weather session, especially for hard rainfall, we could not see the sunshine. and then we miss it, right..?

Hello dear Grecy c",) You are so right about this... Many points in life i've asked those questions too. Life has full of challenges but with great rewards if we are willing to give our all and to sacrifice. Sometimes it feels like you're all alone and that your prayers were unanswered and things just doesn't seem like you expect it to be. But as the days, months or even years passed in life we would then understand why. Answers were given, but sure thing life doesn't end while we're still breathing, problems might sometimes unbearable but when you get over it you will find your sunshine and that is happiness beyond compare... I agree to these lines. Storms, problems or trials in life are the one who makes us a better person. It is a test of time that makes us strong. This challenges helps us to be brave and learn the lessons in life. If we dont have any problems in life, ill tell you guys that you wont be a strong and brave person whose ready to accept challenges. The more challenges and storms in life, the more you become strong and stiff. Storms are flavors of life. Without these life would be boring and less challenging.
