f you can take care of your password, and don't fall for phishing emails, then yes. Internet Banking has the potential to save you money in fees that you might otherwise accumulate using traditional means such as ATMs, cheques etc. Of course, this all depends on your bank and their fee structure. It sounds like you're looking at Internet only accounts, like those with ING etc. In that case, yes, they can offer you higher interest rates because they have lower running costs. But you still need to have a normal bank account that you transfer the money out of that savings account into. These sort of accounts are often great for saving, because they aren't linked to an ATM/debit card etc. So in that respect, they're not intended to replace your everyday transaction account. rgds manu

I have absolute trust on online banking as I am using using since many years ago. I use it mainly to check balance, making bill payments, money transfer between my accounts and banks. I find it very convenience and it has been quite some time I visited the bank to perform any kind of transaction.

Yes. I perform some bank transactions online. Although it's from one bank only. When I tried it the first time, I personally went to the back first and scrutinized online banking. I asked a lot of questions but most of them are security. Now, I'm still using it. I just make sure that first, my PC is safe to use on the internet without hijackers and malicious softwares installed. Most of the Online banking systems are very secure. Just like I mentioned, it's mostly our PC that makes us vulnerable. Take care!
