I am not really an impulse buyer but I often find it hard to stick to my shopping list when I go shopping. I always end up picking up a couple of extra items here and there and it drives me nuts. How do you manage to stick to your shopping list?

I agree to that. I have my shopping list when there are some things that are important. Even so, along the way, especially when I buy them at malls, few stalls and shops do make me want to stop and just look. I am a bit of an impulse buyer. I admit that. But there really are times when you just find something you really want for quite sometime, and it's there for the taking. I still prioritize my list but I'd definitely consider on the spot purchases. Take care!

Yeah I know. There are always some things that we find irrestible on the shelves when we go shopping. Sigh... Most times I can resist the impulse to buy something which is not really on my list but there are times when I just give-in...

Yeah. ahahaha. Happens a lot to me as well. Once I even came upon a toy I've always wanted when I was a kid. It just happened to appear on one of the shops. I just can't help it. I bought it

Only time I seen to be astray at the grocery is when I forget my list or lose it. Also sometimes when I take my sons with me I end up with a few extra items that weren't on the list.

Yeah, bringing kids along to the shopping mall can be quite hazardous! LOL My little boy tend to pick up things which are not really on my list. Although I always manage to return to the shelves, I always ened up buying him a couple of extra items as compremise. Kids can be really persuasive you know. Not to mention the tantrums that they sometimes throw when they don't get what they want.

i dont have a shopping list but i know what i will buy, it is natural to buy up a couple of extra items as long as you know that you need it. if you buy something that will just lie down around the house and not use it i dont think that it is a good idea to buy it. i know what to buy and i just buy that, but if i find something useful and it is on sale i grab it. atleast i can use it and it is half the price for it is on sale. lol

I don't always stick to my list but thats mostly because I don't always make a very good shopping list but I atleast set myself a spending limit.

Setting a spending limit is a good idea. If you cannot resist buying some things that are not in your list, you can at least limit the amount of money that you spend on your shopping trip.

We only have list when we go to the supermarket, my mother stick on that but not me. I used to buy some extra items such as snacks and make the items on the list doubled. Its good that you always have spare items at least you are not rushing going back to grocery to buy those things again. It can save your effort, time and money (fare).

Mostly, I will buy what's on the list. To curb the purchases not on your list, head to the shop when you are bit of time short or when in some hurry. Then you would avoid looking for other things in the shop.

I don't think so. Sometimes having a shopping list can't work very well when I am in the supermarket. I am a little impulse. Sometimes I will buy something I don't want because of the promotion and so on. I love China

"If you cannot resist buying some things that are not in your list, you can at least limit the amount of money that you spend on your shopping trip." I do agree with you. Every time i buy some extra items, even though i am not a impulsive buyer.
