Is AJAX already considered a LANGUAGE???

Hello, according to some, AJAX is a progamming language. Some say it's a newly arising TECHNOLOGY.. But I've read a book that says AJAX is not a Language nor a technology.. Since it came from JavaScript and XML. It stands for Assynchronous JavaScript and XML.. But it's a powerful, (ymmm, how should i call this?) "THING".. Google and Yahoo, two of the best web sites all over the net, use AJAX... For sure, many will be using AJAX someday that would maybe overlap the usage of other known web programming language..
