And I decided that I was not going to do anything. My friend decided to come over on the seventh, and he is here until tomorrow, the ninth. We are probably just going to hang out at my house, and do nothing like we always do. I figured that I did not want to make plans only to be disappointed, and I did not want to have someone over that could possibly make the day a bad day. The friend that I have over could not possibly do anything to mess up my day unless he wanted to. We are going to have a good time.
So, what did you do for your eighteenth birthday? And for those under eighteen, do you have anything planned? Please elaborate.

Thank you very much, and good luck to your daughter as she is growing up. I hope that you do plan something very special for her, and that you are able to spend the time with her on her birthday (some people, I find, like to run off with their friends on their birthday). Anyway, thank you for responding.

aww.. well, Happy Birthday! I hope it is a great day no matter what you do!
Honestly, I can't remember what I did on my 18th birthday, and it was only 7 years ago, so I should really remember. LOL I'm thinking if I did anything it was probably just hanging out with a friend. So it wasn't anything too exciting or our of the ordinary, but if I was with a friend I'm sure it was pretty fun, because still when we get together we go online and goof off and make our own fun.
Anyway, have a GREAT birthday. And make it a memorable one.

Thank you. C: Any day is a good day, for the most part. The fact that I have a friend over and we are just hanging out makes the day even better. I haven't actually slept for a while now, as we stayed up all night. So, I have not slept in about 31 hours, maybe? But, most of those hours were filled with fun because he is here. Thank you for responding.

Hey Valenas, first of all [b]happy 18th birthday[/b. You are now going to be a grown up. I turned 18 without even noticing. I was having a very hard and essential exams that year so I dint know I had turned eighteen until many months later so I did not do anything special or memorable. I wish you and your friend a wonderful day of happy and lasting memories.
Please take care of yourself as you celebrate your birthday.

Where I am from, eighteen is really not as grown-up as I would like it to be. But, it is an age that signifies transition. The age of twenty-one is the end of that transition period, although it seems like some people need to stay in it longer than others. Exams ruin birthdays! Until I made this discussion, I did not realize that they did that. Thank you for wishing me a happy birthday, and thanks for responding.
