scientists and politicians ,do you believe them?

we knew that G-8 summit is holding in Toyako.Japan endorsed the idea of cuting greenhouse gas emissions in half by 2050,but refused to set a short-term target for reducing the gases.
In my view,the declaration by the so-called Group of Eight came intense criticism from environmentalists.Do you belive that our planet is warming?and is warming by gases?Do you still trust these politicians?

I do not believe politicians. I feel their main reason for being in politics is to line their pockets.
I do believe that our planet is undergoing some devastating changes due to the increase in population, the destruction of forests and the pollution caused by fossil fuels just to name a few. If we rely on politicians to remedy this, we're in for a lot of trouble. Each person must take responsibility and reduce their individual amount of contribution to this problem.
