Making TUF more into a reality show?

Do you think that the producers of TUF throw in "moments" just to make it more of a reality show? For example, I'm sure you all remember Noah Inhofer leaving the show because he received a "letter" from his girlfriend saying that she THINKS that he cheated on her, and he asked Dana White to make a call to her, and Dana white would not let him...but then why would he let him receive a letter? I think Noah left because he had enough of that reality show bullsh*t and thought it would be just about fighting. What are your thoughts?
