Band Geeks Rock!

I decided to start my own interest since there doesn't seem to be one like it. I'm just wondering how many band geeks or former band geeks there are in the MyLot community. I am a former band geek myself. And I use the term band geek very proudly. I loved being in band in high school. I still have some very close friends that I made from being in band. My high school band was like my second family throughout high school. I loved going to football games and competitions and our trips were always a blast. I have to say band is the thing I miss most about high school. My husband was also a band geek. He played in high school and went on to play in the Pride of the Southland band for the University of TN. Were you a band geek in school? If so, what did you play? What is your favorite memory from band? I played flute and piccolo and was on the color guard my junior and senior years.
