finally! i am writing here again, it was a long vacation from here and i sure miss my daily stuff in mylot haha!
anyway, as you know (ok some LOL) we went up in DC last 3rd to celebrate our 4th up there and see the fireworks personally.
it was a happy vacation and i have seen a lot.
we didnt get the chance to go to the beach on our way home coz our time to check the museums in DC is not enough for just a day so we just extend our stay in DC and enjoy a lot of walkings.
our dog enjoys it as well though he spent most of his time at the hotel.
his second day is very funny coz we left around 11am and comes back about 10 at night.
we are surprise to see him laying in bed and just sleeping, i was laughing so hard coz our dog acts as if he is caught in the act of enjoying his time alone in bed LOL
it was great that he did go with us and he get a chance to enjoy his trip the way we do.
btw, the best part of that trip beside being with my boys is that i get the chance to see Lincoln's Memorial.
he is my hero and my idol and it is so wonderful to see his stuff and his famous statue in person.
i even had a dream about that trip so it was like a dream come true.
anyhow, we comes back sunday evening but i was too tired to do anything last monday so i thought i will be get a chance to spend more time today here BUT my man wants me to help him on his project so i spend 2 days doing that and i just finish it and decided to write this afterwards.
oh well, great to be here again and enjoy my time writing and be part of the discussion again.

Wow, that's a great vacation jairgirl! Maybe you surprised your dog by your laugh and he was startled..LOL! I am trying to imagine his face! Anyway, welcome back and pretty sure, plenty of notification this time..Take your time girl!

I see...He must truly enjoy his life sleeping and mesmerizing the moment alone..LOL! I have seen that after our trip to in laws! But, it was not there anymore! I wondey why it was deleted, I mean it was not against of any rule for sure..ANyway, a lot of deletion this week and made also one of my friend here decided to take a break! We were with my in laws in their boat, we visited 2 lakes and enjoy also a lot for 3 days off!

oh that's awesome, i enjoy boating too too bad we dont have one LOL
that is great that you have a wonderful time with your in-laws 3 days is enough days i guess haha!
i am looking forward to be back to his hometown again and meet his family hopefully my mom can go with us so she can eat the yummy food in that area, we cannot stay there longer than a week coz we will be fluffy in the end hahaha!
btw, i honestly dont understand why my discussion is deleted i tried to be cautious about posting all the time but in mylot most of the time you never know.

hello che,
no, we were so quiet when we open the door. we have the tv on for him so he dont have to hear a lot of noise outside and that makes him relax. he enjoys hotels a lot for some reason he thinks he is a rich dog haha!
oh, we uses the elevator a lot for him coz he likes it a lot he grew up with one when we are living in china so he is always excited to step on it - funny!
i posted a discussion informing everybody i will be out for a while coz of our trip but when i checked it yesterday it was deleted so i dont know if it was deleted few hours before i posted it coz i dont see much about it.
oh well, a mylot life i guess LOL!

hello vanities,
yes it was a great one all our vacations and little dates are always great so i cannot really complain about it.
we enjoy the fact that we can spend extra time together and mind you my hubby didnt bring any work and even his favorite computer with him so we can have the whole vacation just for us so that is really wonderful.
i told him i dont mind him working out a lot at home but if we are together specially during vacation i prefer that it is just us and nothing more hehe
hey, why envy? you shouldnt be coz you have a wonderful life with your family and that is all that matters.

what i mean was i havent gone into a vacation lately i guess 5 years had past since the last one in manila...i really enjoyed it then.. how i wish i can plan to have one next year if Gods willing..since my youngest will finish college next march2009 and maybe it will be the proper time ..

anyway, i hope that when your youngest graduated you can treat yourself an exciting trip since you have supported all your kids then.
tell your hubby it's about time LOL
kidding aside, 5 years is quite a long time but if its for the best of the family then i will do the same like you do.

Welcome back sweetie. Sounds like you had a fun and relaxing time. The hubby and I stayed home and worked our tails off. We painted the main part of the house, outside. We still have to clean the trim and paint it. We also bathed all the dogs which was a chore in its self! Then he got a wild hair and decided to clean up the back porch. We threw away two bags of garbage. My back is wrenched from all the hard work but it sure looks better around the house. Vacation time is the only time we really have to make major improvements. Then we come back to work to rest up, lol.

thanks for the giggle i cant help it when i read the part you have to come back to work to rest - hahaha that is a classic LOL
i can imagine how much work you guys had that day, i dont let my hubby do the cleaning coz he likes to throw away stuff even if they are new as long as he thinks it is something we cannot use.
then a week later he will ask me where is where and i will tell him that it is probably somewhere in waste management area.
he will give me an eye and remind me not to let him clean again BUT he always do as he thinks i like to grab everything there is - really most of our stuff is kiddy stuff that we think is great to have and enjoy haha!
oh, you guys have big dogs and it will be a real chore to give them all a bath, mine is medium but he do needs a lot of my strength to tame him down haha!
btw, i enjoy painting the house too. a month ago we helped our friend to paint her daughter's room and their garage - it sure looks great afterwards.i just dont like the headaches afterwards i guess coz of the fume and i am always sensitive about it.
hey, how's your back now? you shouldnt be carrying/doing a lot of stuff as it is not good for your back.
but if you do - i cant blame you coz i am the same and i will just suffer later coz of the back pain hehe.

oh that must be pretty painful. i remember straining my muscle nerve on my back (right side) when i was in beijing. i was packing boxes for our shipment here and i try to always do stuff and not asking for anybody's help and that caught me.
it makes me stay in bed for a week and i cant move and had a hard time breathing coz of that and i swear that is the worst pain i ever had YET haha!
anyway, i hope your back is better now and you hubby's too.
i am having some problem on my back lately as well as my knee i dont know why but i guess i need to do some exercising again to help my back.
i hope it is not the bed that is causing it - i hate having back pains specially at a young age yay!!!
oh well, i hope you guys feel better soon.

Hi Sweetie,
Well, it's actually kind of my back and side and it's still wrenched. See, my hubbies back was out for 2 weeks here recently. We don't know what caused that. The thing that really got me was one of the dogs twisted around and twisted me around with him. I screamed. The up and down painting had it out of wack already but that really did the number on me. I'll be okay. It's a muscle.
