Ok so I am looking for a new career. The one that I have is like really pi**ing me off big time. So like right now I am thinking about going to Bartending school. Does anyone know of some good bartending schools out there? I have looked on the internet and found one in my rea called International Bartending School. Does anyone in here know anything about this school?

Bartending can be alot of fun. It can also be very annoying and costly! If you are a good bartender, you make a lot of money, pick up chicks and everybody knows your name. But the down side is that you have to deal with drunk people and in my opinion women are the worst (no offense please to any females). Not to mention the possible liabilities you could incur like fines for overserving, serving to a minor or serving to someone who was already intox, just to name a few potrntial problems. I am not trying to discourage you but you should know what you are getting into. I have bartended in Japan and five different states. More times than not I had a great time. As for schools in your area, look for schools that are accredited with your state Dept of Ed. Many times you get credit for continuing Ed. These also offer lifetime placement. Most of all, a school that teaches you hand-on (sort a speak). The course should for a few hours day, 5 days a week, for two weeks. I paid about $300 in 1991. Hope this helps you? Good luck!
