my dog does not coem out of the kennel

my dog blacky likes to spend more time in his kennel, except for natures call he is contend to remain in his kennel, occassionally i have to force him to come out, why does he show this habit

Maybe he has a health problem. Sound kinda like it may be his nerves. I had a dog once that didn't like to come inside the house he seemed to be afraid that he would do something wrong. Raised him from a pup finally after much reasuring and coaxing that it was ok to come in he started to relax inside.
