the big mac here where i live, is not 'big'. it is not worth calling a big mac! its just the size of a regular burger! what happend to the "big" mac?

Thinking about it and reading all your comments was it really that big to start with? Or did it just seem big because we were so small? Another thought would be was it big because it had the two burgers and everything else has just got bigger?

This is exactly what i was thinking. The Big Mac is definitely not as "Big" as some other burgers out today. Wendy's Baconnator comes to mind, which is a heart attack between buns. Also, Burger King's BK Quad stacker is much larger than the Big Mac. I think it is a combination of us becoming more overweight (I know Im guilty of that) and other companies just releasing larger burgers.

I have watched the size of the big mac decline over the years. It started out big but I guess the economy has slowly made the big mac more like the double cheese burger instead.

You said it my friend. Big Macs aren't what they used to be. You start to wonder when you're holding one just right before you eat it that it's really small. Before I had to hold it with two hands just to be able to get a good bite (aside from having trouble with the veggies dangling around). Now, one hand will do and I won't have a hard time getting a bite as before. Economy really is unstable nowadays. It's real sad but it's real true. Take care!
