What does inflation have an impact on wages?

When price inflation occurs, do you think your wages should increase? Please provide a reason for your answer. This question comes to my mind when my country's finance minister warns that there will be a 2nd inflation if firms raise wages. Hello, When price rises the whole sale price index rises and so it will have to effect the wages of the employees,In India the government increases the wages of all classes of employees with the increase in the inflation to compensate the loss.thanx.
