How long did you keep text messages from your special someone?

The oldest message i have kept is a 9 months old..hehehe^_^ i find the message so sweet and that is why up to now i am not erasing it..i also have a notebook full of text messages from my boyfriend..i wrote it 'coz my phones memory became full..

Hey there sis! So far, the oldest text message I have from her was from 3 years ago. Although it isn't in my cell phone anymore, thanks to PC Suite I have them backed up as well as other important text messages. As for my phone, I try to keep messages until it gets full. The most I had was around 3000+ text messages and it took a couple of hours to back up. Almost 40% of those (just estimating) are from her.

I will keep it as long as i can, my dear.. Even when my phone is spoiled, i will try to save all those msgs onto my sim card and transfer it to another phone ^_^ hehe.. And msgs i get, is just like hearing from them in person and it's actually very meaningful ^_^ muahhh muahhh muahhh muahhhh ^_^ Thinking of u lots, my dear.. Especially the time we had in here and online ^_^

My cell. phone is set to delete all the messages after 15 days automatically... My girl friend knows that... She also knows I don't like text messaging... I have it for work purpose & some simple stuff... She text messages me everyday with something really sweet... I don't really have to save any because she'll send me one everyday... I'll keep it until my phone deletes it automatically... She'd rather call me & tell me things instead, like me...

I keep it for years... in fact sometimes even if I have already broken up with that person I still keep all her messages... why? because it reminds me of who I was when I was with them and it helps me improve myself...
