In yout own view, who is the greatest single person who ever walked the earth aside from Jesus of Nazareth ? I consider Paul as the greatest single person who ever lived. He was able to maximize his singleness for the missions and purposes of God. Other notable singles were Corie Ten Boom, and Amy Carmichael.

Was comedian George Carlin single? If so, then him. If not, some other Buddha-figure (Nichiren Daishonen, etc.)
