Are you a bread winner? It's hard to be a bread winner of the family.I am the eldest of 5 all girls. We used to live a hard life,i've have'nt finished my college. But i'm not disappointed with that, although i wanted to have a degree.Being the only one working in our family,i felt happy that i am helping my parent in any way i can.I love my family that if i could give everything to them. Now i'm supproting my sister for her college. At first its difficult, budgetting money for everyone.Hope i could help them more and could give them a better living.

I admire your courage, few people would do that, and 5 siblings is a lot BUT i think you should not overdo, when they grow up and go away you will need that degree,so try and find a way to get your degree.

Hi matola!!!I know it's really hard.I'm trying to just help them but it seems that i am the only one doing the actions.I know some of them can do it,but i don't mind reminding them on it.They're all grown ups now and they have they're on set of minds.Sometimes i'm thinking what if i stop working???But i'm still afraid it would cause many problems. Now i am more busy on my work, and thinking about someone that could help me!!!Whatever i can do to make them satisfy i would. Thanks for your thoughts!

i am the rice winner in out family for we eat rice more than bread.... joke. i just want to make this discussion light. you are a very good oldest sister, but make sure it wont come to the part were everybody will be leaching their way just to get what they want from you. if some of the members of the family can help working even on sideline jobs only then tell them to please help. if you will just let it past they might be a burden as long as you can no longer imagine.

Exactly, that's what i'm feeling right now.Eventhough i have some sisters that could help me,i just try to do it alone than pushing them to something that they don't want to do.I'm ignoring the fact that if they really want to help me out, there can always find a way.I can't blame them but you are right. Now i'm feeling that burdens me!!!Thanks for your response!!

Well I gueess you could say I am the bread winner. My children are all gown now, I live alone I am 56 years old, and I am disabled. I live on social security disability, it is very hard. But I commend you for what you are doing for everyone in your family, I know it is hard on you, but you are a very strong woman.Someday, you will be rewarded greatly for what you are now doing for your family.God Bless You.

Hi there sunkissed!!!You are a strong person too, thinking that you are disabled but then you seem to be like a very tough.I really don't think of a great reward.Being here brought in this world by my parents is a reward for me.I am just serving my gratitude to my family, because all the thing that happened to me whether it is good or bad they always stay with me.Thanks for a very touching response...God bless you also!!
