I used to always get my hair permed, for the last 25 years or more. But the last couple of years I let it grow out and didn't get another one. I didn't like having my hair straight because it just took too long to do in the mornings as I had to wash it everyday and blow dry it and style it. What a pain. So I finally went and got another perm and I am so glad I did. Now all I have to do is wet my hair and finger comb it and that's it, let it dry. What a time saver in the morning. I think it looks really good too, and so do my friends and family. They said I am now myself again, with curly hair. To my surprise it cost a lot to get permed. I had to pay $120 for it. Wow, I never knew it costs so much to get a perm. I always got them for free before, from my sister, who is a hairdresser but I now live in a different city than her so I had to pay for it. I didn't have a clue that it costs so much. So do you wear your hair straight or do you have natural curls or do you perm your hair?

Hi chris, I always have a straight hair...when I used to work and run out of time, I will just use my finger to comb and arrange it..I don't use hair dryer ever since...I just apply a lot of conditioner and it makes me manage my hair even if I don't comb it in the morning..I also learned that combing when wet will give a bad effects on hair!

Yes you are probably right. Probably would be ripping it with the comb and would even be worse if brushing it. But I know when I go to the salon they always comb it after but they do it slowly and carefully so that they don't rip any. That is what I think, anyways.
