Do you take advantage of specials in resturants?

I work at KFC and I find that we have some specials that save people quite a bit of money if they just ask what they are when they go to order. For example, you can get a leg, thigh and biscuit for 3.99 or (these next two are specials) you can get the same thing with one side item for 3.99, or you can get the same thing with 2 side items for 3.99. Are you the type of person who makes sure to ask what the specials are, or do you order and expect the cashier to just suggest specials, or do you not pay any attention at all?

I always get the special. I am a student with not a lot of money so a lot of the time I would not be able to afford the food if it wasnt for the specials. I use the food coupons too. Like buy one hamburger get one free. I dont have enough for 2 hamburger but I am hungry so those coupons come in really handy.

I think you are an intelligent student. Sometimes I wonder why people don't use the coupons when they really can save you so much money.

If the special appears to be of interest and of value to me I will take full advantage o it, but if it's for osmething that I don't think I want or need, or may not like, I won't. I know of far too many people who buy things they don't want, need or like, just because tey are ON SPECIAL. LOL

hi shlooper. yes, i always ask for specials. especially, with the rising costs of almost all the commodities, i think avaialing of specials is one way of saving money without giving up my penchant for fast food. i also use a lot of food coupons whenever possible.

If the special sounds appetizing I hit it up. There are several advantages. First of all it is cheaper. secondly, it is more likely to be fresh and fast because more people are getting it and the restaurant is prepared. I don't usually worry about specials at fast food joints though, only sit down establishments like La Bodega or Olive Garden.
