Have you ever had a lucid dream?

Lucid dreams are dreams in which you are aware it is a dream and can change your dream environment. I have learned to have lucid dreams, and wondered how others have got on with theirs? Any tips or things to try?

yes i've had quite a few lucid dreams. i started having them when i got really scared by my dreams. there was this period of time that i'll wake up at 3am without fail from a nightmare. in this nightmare i'd be doing something stupid, thus causing the vampires to come after me. after a month of that i couldn't take it anymore. i told myself before going to sleep that i've got to stop doing the stupid thing. i kept repeating it to myself as i drift to sleep. in my dream, i kind of stopped myself from doing that thing that causes the vampire to chase me. it really works.

That is strange! Some of my earlier lucid dreams happened when I dreamt about being a vampire. But because I was a good one, the others were after me. lol. The things you dream!

My dreams are usually very vivid and I can remember them with a lot of detail, although usually I don't get lucky enough to have a lucid dream. I've had a few before though. I love when you're able to realize that everything you're experiencing in a dream isn't real and you have the power to change whatever you want about the dream.

Yes, I've had lots. I never learned how to do it either. But I do notice that the more aware you are during the day the bigger the chance you'll have a lucid dream. By being aware I mean, paying attention to the world around you and no daydreaming.
