i have heared everybody saying that Sir Don Bradman as greatest ever batsmen in the history of cricket. His stats also show the same.. But to be frank, i believe its unfair to comment about a player you haven't seen playing. I have never seen him playing. And stats only do not show the greatness of the player.. When Sir Bradman palyed, at that time, there were no ODIs, T-20s, the fielding standard was not that great. I have seen few photos where all the players are around ur bat and u just have to push and run. So, I am sorry to comment anything about Sir Bradmann. he must be a very geat player thats why everyone praising him, but i have never seen him playing..

Well I have seen Sir Don play in a television series called the BODYLINE way back in the late 1980's. And you say that the fielding standards were not great and there was not much cricket. Ok I agree to that point, but then there is nobody who even came close scoring say 60-70% on an average in those days. You said that the standards were poor then why not anyother played who could come up with good averages. And its not that at that time only England and Australia played. There were other countries too playing back then, like the WI, India, SA.

I have never said that the stats are poor. The stats which Sr Bradman possess are unbelievable nd nobody else will come even close to it.. But since I, myself, havent seen him and I believe stats do no tell us the greatness of a person, tats y I am unable to comment on the greatness of Sir bradmann
