I love Italian food because my mom is a wonderful Italian cook. She makes delicious ravioli, pasta, pizza, breads, soups, gnocchi, cakes, and cookies...it's all wonderful. The food is fresh, earthy, flavorful, and very hearty.

its not the sauce on;y that makes italian food good, it is also very healthy as they use pure fresh ingredients for their foods. Like the classic tomato sauce, italian tomato sauce are pure and taste delicious different from the others. even the pizza made in the old fashion ways... is by far the best tasting pizza than those cooked in ovens.

As a member of a big, loud Italian family--YES! Pasta rocks lol. We have some sort of pasta in our home every day--tis just a matter of what it may be. Maybe rotini with marinara sauce, maybe a cool n quick pasta salad...who knows?!? ~~

i love the taste of Italian foods even if I am an Asian. I love eating pasta and pizza. As for my opinion, Italian cooking is not only palatable to my tastes but also nutritious that the main usual ingredients Italians are using in preparing their dishes are tomatoes (tomato sauce, crushed tomatoes, tomato pastes) which are good source of lycopene and vitamin C also known antioxidants that fight cancer. Cheese is also used most often. It is rich however in calcium and protein that even without carbohydrates we have a good source of energy from their combination. Ciao! Happy Italian eating!
