It depends on your purpose and how are you going to use the device... If you will use the device at home only and want to do some hardware upgrades in the future, I would suggest to buy a Personal Computer...But if you want a portable computer where you can carry it and use it anywhere you want, you are a person who needs to be online most of the time, then go for a laptop...Another good thing about laptop is you can save space in your room...

if you are a mobile person, a student or have work that is very demanding in terms of traveling, then laptop computer is better than a desktop computer. it is portable, use less power (electricity) and stylish than desktop computer. but i think they have the same specifications nowadays and sometimes desktop computer has a bigger storage for data or/and larger memory. yet i saw that most of the laptops nowadays has also bigger memory and large storage data. you have to ask yourself what you really want and what are your preferences in order to choose between a laptop computer and desktop computer. Cheers!

it completely depends on the type of use your have. If your person who used to travel a lot then I think the latter will be a very good option for you for the mobility. And if the increase in mobile Internet services in Candy all is connected to the Internet wherever you go. But when it comes to hardcore working when I have seen rather personal experience that a desktop computer is far more better than a laptop. It is very often the use and takes heavy load. That is the main reason why many offices are still using desktop computers instead of laptops and where they can get the extra opportunity of providing their main employees with a laptop so that they can take home and the was connected to the Internet.

I don't like this big bulky thing. I really am looking forward to the day I get a laptop. I would spend most of my time in my room instead of in the main living area. I really like my privacy and peace and that would help me out a lot. If you want something portable like a laptop then you should get it. If you don't mind the computer just sitting on a desk all day then a personal computer is more for you. It all depends on what you're looking for.

Both PC and laptop has its advantages and disadvantages. Now, what the other mylotters are saying is true. Your choice should be based on your needs and preferences. If you are the type of person that is always on the go and mobile then you should buy a laptop. Just ensure to buy one that is sturdy and with a popular brand. I suggest that you buy a popular brand since it will be easier for you to change spare parts and do upgrades. If you are the type of person that just wants to use the computer at home then I suggest you buy a PC. It is easier to manage and maintain. There are also more readily available spare parts and it is less expensive.

It is all down to personal preference. Do you travel alot? If you do, a laptop may be the best option as it is very portable. If you don't then a Desktop PC is the best thing. A benefit of a Desktop PC compared to a laptop is that Desktop PCs can now be bought (And built yourself) at very low cost and are easily upgradeable at any time, however, Laptops are not.

I agree with another response that is your personal preferance. I personally have a Laptop, and a desktop. I am on my laptop way more than the desktop. todays laptops can do just as much as a desktop. the only differance is that you can take the laptop with you, a desktop you cant

As said it is based on your preference. What do you want it to be used for? Laptops are better if you are the one which wants his comp to be where ever you go. Performance wise there is no match with a PC. Also if you are gonna use it for lite applications then laptops are better. You should also specify what are your needs for someone to help you?

I would say that one is just as good as the other, but if you prefer to stay in one place to do your computing needs, then a desktop is the best way to go,while if you prefer to move around, and take your work with you wherever you go then a laptop would be the road you would want to take, right now my parents have a desktop, and me and my fiance have a desktop, and we are hoping that my parents will get us a new laptop for Christmas,so that way me and my fiance will both be able to use a laptop, and that way we can both do mylotting and other stuff while playing our games,or watching television.
