Do you think we respect each other here or was this article about MY LOT?

http://www.helium.com/items/1112464-helium-differences-respect Do you think that people in My Lot respect each other? Do you think that this article I found is valid and true. Is it referring to Helium? Do you think that some of teh discussions here are stupid?

I think that it could be referring to websites like MyLot, but I think it is also important to note that each type of discussion has its place. There is nothing wrong with having opinions, but every once in a while it is nice to read a nice well-supported piece of writing. If I were looking for some really well written pieces, I wouldn't look on one of these websites. I am here just to enjoy other people's opinions and compare them to mine. They may be "stupid" but if I enjoy doing it, then it doesn't really matter.

I was rating at Helium today and I had to report an 'article' because it consisted of just two lines followed by lines of dots - to get it past the automatic word count which is based on the number of characters rather than actual words. At times I have seen two articles side by side which were both so bad I had to skip on to the next pair because I really couldn't rate either of them as being better than the other. There is some good writing at Helium but well written articles seem to be outnumbered by ones which read like blog posts or forum posts. They are supposed to be articles and should not start with a statement like "I agree", or "No I don't", and there are many other 'stupid' things written there too. Well that's my rant about Helium, I don't have any cause to rant about myLot. I think there are fewer stupid people here than at Helium.

Paid - Frankly, I love Helium because of one thing. Their marketplace. For some eerir reason my work gets purchased in the Marketplace. I even write more articles for the marketplace than for the "regular" my lot. I loved that article tho' because it did make sense.

You are doing well to sell articles at Helium. I have only written one article for the Marketplace, so far, and it was not accepted. I don't often see subjects there I can write on, but one of my 'regular' Helium articles was bought and I have won money in some of the writing contents. I shall keep on writing and rating at Helium. I did find the article interesting as well.

Paid2write - I think that's the only great place in Helium, the marketplace! I do hate the peer-rating there because I do not have the patience to read really LONGGGGG stuff!

The world is made up of all sorts and types of people. We are all different and we have a right to our own opinions. I personally respect the opinion of others while in some cases it may differ from my own. Whether the article you mention or not is referring to MyLot or not I have no idea. What I do know is that we have a CHOICE - to stay here or to move elsewhere. I have made mine
