I bought some new shoes at TJ Maxx last week, mainly cuz I liked the look of them and they are really comfortable. Plus, I needed a new pair of shoes. After I had already decided to buy them I gave them a closer look and discovered they were trail shoes, not running shoes. I bought them anyhow, and I'll wear them to work if I can't run in them, but if I can I will. Does anyone know if trail shoes can be used as running shoes?

Yes you can, you can run in anything, as long as it is comfortable, you don't need a shoe for running, a shoe for walking or tennis or basketball. What do you think the cavemen did, Do you think that they change shoes every time they wanted to go hunting or walking. No they did not. It is all about making money, they tell you that you have to have a shoe for running, a shoe for walking a shoe for tennis and a shoe for basketball. If its comfortable you can use it. Try it use your trail shoes for running, use them for walking, use them for whatever exercise you want, you be the judge. Let me know!!!!Regards,Deborah howgreat@hotmail.com

Thanks for the advice, I think i'll give it a shot and see how I feel afterwards lol. I know they are good for trail running because they are more stable, and running shoes are more flexible. But part of my run is on the grass and it's pretty uneven, so I think the shoes will help with that part. I sprain my ankle pretty easily and I'm always worried I'm going to do it again. Thanks :)
