Amusing entertainment acts that we have found

Well, I can't say this exactly fits "local acts", but then again, maybe it does. I was in a bar once (LONG time ago, way before kids came along!) and the house band was taking a break. We were all just sitting around talking when this old black man walked in with a piece of cardboard. He sat on a chair that he had pulled away from a table and placed the cardboard in front of him on the floor and poured salt down on it. Next, he pulled out a harmonica and began doing a "soft shoe shuffle" on the cardboard while sitting down and playing his harmonica. Everyone in the place war roaring! Clapping along and singing the tune to the song this man was playing. (I can't remember the name of the song, but it was something most people knew.) The house band couldn't compete after that! LOL
