I think nowadays quite a lot of people are practicing this. They sleep with their dogs. But it's hard for me. I like dogs but if you want me to sleep with them, I don't think I can do it. Maybe because some hygiene reasons. How about you? Do you sleep with your dog? How is the feeling sleeping with a dog? I never try before, lol. Do tell me.

My dogs really like to sleep with us... and we like it too. They seems to know what time we will go to bed and guess what?? They jump up on the bed even before us and make themselves a comfortable space to sleep. Actually, they are treated like the members of our family so I don't think there's a reason to make them sleep oútide or on the floor

Both of my dogs sleep with us when they want. Usually in the winter. They are both big dogs and total about 180 pounds. They get baths once or twice a week and are cleaner then many people we know. I love sleeping with them in the winter, I send them to bed first, they pre-warm it. My older guy leans against my back, he is like having a heating pad. The younger one sleeps by my feet. It is a match made in heaven. My husband snores louder then both of them.

Yes, we sleep with our dogs. we have a rat terrier and a chiwawa, very small dogs. they sleep with the wife and I, or our two teens. If one person tosses over in there sleep they move to the next bed. Spoiled...we give them baths once a week and they have advantage, so no fleas. Every dog I've had slept with me. since I was 18 years old. Never a problem except for a mishap many moons ago. I had a black lab over 100 Lbs. that popped my water bed-big mess. I now longer own a water bed for over 20 years now.

I have owned dogs my whole life; do I like to sleep with them No! They are just like people and are wrestless sleepers. As it is my husband is in bed too and we have issues at times about the wrestlessness. Having a dog just adds more movement and they are hoggie with the space and sometimes will try to push you out of bed for more room. No thank you! I have also found ticks in the bed and found out I am illergic to dogs so the dander on the bed keeps me up and miserable. Granted I have big dogs but my brother has small dogs that sleep with them. They kept me up all night long running around the waterbed and laying next to me and licking themselves or scratching while I was housesitting. I don't sleep with the dogs, in the room is fine, but since I found out I was illergic they are out of the room and I sleep much better.

You know when I was younger, I did admittedly sleep with my dog... now as I have gotten older, I do not sleep with my dog (although I do sometimes find her laying on my bed ;) )... anyway I think I don't for the same reason... maybe hygiene issues also... I have noticed that as a parent I am becoming more and more of a germaphobe by the day... Although, my dog does live in our house, she usually sleeps behind our recliner or in our laundry room.. by choice I might add...
