Whats your favourite song from the 80s

My favorite song from the 80s is Michael Jackson's Thriller. I was in my first year of secondary school when that came out. Wow! It has such a lovely tune and exciting noises are included. I never tire of listening to it. Other great tunes that pop star made are Beat It, Billie Jean and Black or White. A more relaxing one is Wham's Careless Whisper and that almost melts me it was soft and tender.

I would have to say Faithfully by Journey is my favorite song from the 80's coming in really close 2nd is Home Sweet Home by Motley Crew. Now when I was living in the 80's I would have said any song by New Kids ON The Block but I got over them!

i was in my teens during that era and i tell you, i haven't got over it. my children sometimes laugh at me, cause my media library consist of 80% 80's music form all genres. can't really tell which are the best for me, they all sound alike with respect to their genre. but here are some of my favorites: Rock With You, Michael Jackson Crazy Little Thing Called Love, Queen Ride Like The Wind, Christopher Cross Babe, Styx Open Arms, Journey lots of British acts were noted during the 80's Another Brick In The Wall, Pink Floyd Coming Up, Paul McCartney Don't Stand So Close To Me, Police Shake It Up, Cars.... just to name a few regards.......

I'm a great lover of the New Romantics era - bands like Ultravox, Duran Duran, Spandau Ballet. Difficult to chose 3 songs though, far roo many good tracks out there.

Hi welshteddy! I got lots of favorite songs from the eighties, but there's this one song which I really liked. It's "The Greatest Love Of All." This song is popularized by George Benson. This is the first adult song that I memorized. I also like the lyrics of the song. What makes it more special is I usually sing the song with my sister.
