What effect does too much exposure to electrmagnetic have on our health especially the brain? Mobile phones,microwaves,...........................

I've read a lot about this and most studies are contradicting, especially with mobile phone radiation. I've however read an article on WebMD that mentions about electromagnetic waves used therapeutically to treat migraines, and the research actually had positive results.

Elegromagnetic radiation is more than just radio and microwave radiation it contains the entire spectrum from mainly harmless long wavelength radio waves through visible light and onto the more dangerous shortwave x-rays and gamma rays. Thanks to our atmosphere and the earth's magnetic field the most dangerous radiation does not reach us. The small amount of x-rays we get at the dentist or in a hospital is not enough to do significant damage. The main danger we humans face is the increasing amount of ultra-violet radiation we are exposed to due to the damage to the ozone layer. This is a scientifically proven danger that is often ignored especially by light skin coloured people who want to get a tan or just lie around in the sun. As far as radio waves go there is no proof that there is a danger but there has not been enough time to do long term studies. It makes sense, if you are a frequent user of a mobile phone, to use a hands free set at all times. I do. However the risk to your brain is much lower than that of the risk to your skin in the midday sun.
