For all those who are taking online classes....

Education - These words say it all. Education is more than getting a degree. It should also be about training for the real world. I love the picture because it is written on paper and shows exactly what I'm doing.

Currently, I'm working on my degree in Education. I'm taking all my classes online and one of the many requirements is participation in discussions and groups. I do love taking classes this way because it is easier for me. Being a mother, employee, and wife makes it hard for me to attend classes. Online classes allow me to attend class whenever I have the time to. Now, with all the things I love about online classes, let me tell you what I hate. This just started this summer term. I took three classes this summer but had to drop one. None of my group members were responding or working on the project and the teacher never responded. I was okay with this because I really didn't need the class. What just made me so upset is the fact that in another class that I really need, my group members decided to wait until the last minute to work on the group project. They even got upset that I contacted the professor to let her know that I was concerned. Now they want me to stop participating so that they can do some work to get some credit. Has anyone gone through this before? Did I do something wrong? One member just responded and the project is due this Sunday. I feel I have every right to be upset....do you think so?
