I use marketing materials for my home business. They have splash pages for me to use but I do not know what they are or how to use them. Can you help me?

Basically a splash page is an initial website used to catch the reader's attention for a short time as a promotion or lead-in to the site homepage. They are used to promote a company, service, or product. The splash page will usually consist of graphics, html, and sounds or videos to entice the user into exploring the rest of the website. A splash page is very useful in promoting because it provides a quick, one-over glance of overview of the product, service, or company being marketed. A good splash page is catchy and can get the reader's attention. Peoples' attention spans are short, so a splash page's main goal is to keep the readers' attention and direct them back to the main website.
