You may have already seen this gentlemen on TV. He has a plan for making the US less dependent on foreign oil and intends to use his millions to promote it to the extent that the media, the president, the presidential candidates and all of our legislators will take notice and take action. You can see his plan at: http://push.pickensplan.com/ Check it out and then post your opinion and if you think it can work.

Hi Hon I am a member. I don't know if it will help but I do believe that using wind power can not hurt. God has provided us with many sources that we don't even tap into. I am new to it so am just getting my self aclimated to it. I mean something has to be done. I've finally felt comfortable enough that I have begun inviting my friends. xxx

I live in North Dakota and I can verify that it is probably the windiest state! We live and work on a cattle ranch and many of the water pumps used for the cattle water are old fashioned wind powered windmills. I know there have to be a lot of wind turbines being constructed somewhere because we see the various pieces of them being transported on the interstates. I do feel that Mr. Pickens is going to make people think - even if his is not the plan that brings us out of this, it will make people think.

I am going over to one of my other sites and posting the links for this plan. I am tired of people saying that wind energy will not work. It is much less harmful than oil to the environment.

Okay, I will go take a look. I will be back with an opinion later. It is a shame that until we post we cannot do the links, or see the pictures.
