Will anyone not vote for obama because he is black?

Good question, but I do not think people are that stupid. Are they?

Sadly, I think there will be some people who won't vote for him because he's black but most won't admit it to a pollster. I found it interesting that during the primary elections there was a higher percentage than I'd have expected who said race was a factor in who they voted for so I think there were probably even more who didn't want to admit to that. I also think that at least to some extent race is the reason for some of these viral internet messages with all the various allegations against Obama. I'm not saying that everyone who has sent them or who has fallen for them are racists but I do believe that at least many of those behind these messages are racist. I'd also like to add that I saw in some previous responses here about racism in the south and some KKK members are still there but the truth is most of the states in the south aren't likely to vote Democratic anyway.
