Whenever I have headache or migrain I will take painkillers to ease the pain. Sometimes I would take in more that has been prescribed by the doctor. If I don't go to doctor, I will take four panadols at one time. This has been going on for years. I easily got headache or migrain when I am stressed, depressed, or standing under the hot sun. Do you think taking painkillers over a long time has effect on my general health? What should I do?

I don't think it has harmed your general health but I do think that if you take them too often your body will build a resistance to them and they won't help you anymore. Taking four of them at a time is a lot, so I think your body is already building a resistance, that is why it takes so many. I think you need to try something else for awhile so your body will accept the panadols later on, again. I would suggest you take some advil as it seems to be the one that is working for me, and I get a lot of headaches too. But before you do anything more or take any more of your panadols, you need to see your doctor and tell him everything. Don't hide the truth as it only hurts you if you are not totally honest with him. Get his advice, not members of mylots. This is just my opinion, my friend.
