My family and I have been camping about every other weekend. It's great fun and we all all very happy with one little problem... I have run out of food ideas. The kids are all giving me that "we're eating that again" look. I would be greatly appreciative of any recipes and/or ideas you may have.

I wish I can offer any. I am bad at cooking period. I always mess up on the amount of ingredients etc. I get confused and forget them alot of times. If you get any good ones let me know.

Don't feel bad everyone struggles with cooking once in a while. My kids never let me forget the day I made pumpkin pies and forgot the sugar. They were sweet enough though to pretend they liked it up till I tasted it. Then I took the plates and thanked them for trying to spare my feelings. We had ice cream for dessert that night. If you are looking for recipes check out the ones that have already been posted on this discussions. I haven't tried them yet but they sound yummy.

Here in the Philippines, we always have camping and I can share with you the most common thing we do for camp cooking. It is exciting and fun for the kids. You can have hot dog barbecue in a stick. Just put the hot dog in a stick and roast it over a coal is a camp fire. when it is done cooking, put marsmallows in it. That is fun for kids. Have fun!!! and enjoy....

Thanks for the reply. We have done that one once but the boys were so busy jumping around joking "I'm roasting my weiny" that they burned.
