My Hard Disk Space is changing...

I need your help, don't have an idea why my hard disk is changing. From 10 gig to 11gig and dropping to 9gig in just a couple of minutes. Is is a virus?. I've already scanned my PC for possible malwares but everything seems to be normal. This is so troublesome!. Any help is highly appreciated. Thank in advance. I'v asked my friends about it but they never encountered this one before, i googled it but the answers are not concrete.

There may be temporary files that is consuming your HDD space. Try 3rd party disk cleaner then see how much space clears. You can also use windows disk cleaner.
Follow the steps if you are using XP:
Start All programs Accessories System Tools Disk Cleanup.

I've already tried that one. Deleting temporary internet files, deleting cookies but my hard disk space is still changing...tnx for your help..
