You can carry a laptop anywhere with you whereas with home PC you are restricted to one place only..you can carry aptop while travelling, in ur offc or any where else..

The only reason why i bought a laptop even we already have a desktop computer is the portability of the first than the latter. I am a mobile person and yet I have to do many paper works since I am still in college. Because of my laptop, I can finish a research paper even I am attending a birthday party in a friend's house. I also travel a lot since my field of study is all about research. Having a laptop really helped me a lot because I can bring it anywhere (as long as there is electricity and the battery is full charge).

you may find my answer funny but its true........ the main difference between the laptop and home PC is, firstly Spelling and pronunciation. then later every thing comes after this right, what you say.

For really long hours or use, rigid and ease of maintenance a desktop PC is more appropriate. Mobility and aesthetic value are for laptop, you can use it anywhere anytime. Laptop these days are not that expensive and its almost the same price as desktop. Not only business man are taking advantage of these features.

Business man is always on the go,so they need a computer that they can bring everywhere.A powerful laptop is much,much,much more expensive than a powerful dekstop. I use a desktop because it's cheaper,and you can upgrade your dekstop easier.
